High value-added dairy powders

Recognized expertise in dairy powder production

With almost 20 years' experience in the production of dairy powders, Cremo has expanded its know-how to include high value-added technical specialties. Our rigorous manufacturing processes, combined with an exacting selection of Swiss raw materials, enable us to offer high-performance, reliable products tailored to the needs of the most demanding industries.

Products tailored to industrial needs

Our powder specialties are developed to meet the technical constraints of a wide range of sectors: bakery, confectionery, dietetics, nutrition, animal feed and baby food. Whether to optimize a texture, enhance a nutritional value or facilitate an industrial process, our powders provide tailor-made functional solutions.

Our range of dairy powders :

Milk permeate:
A product of the concentration process, milk permeate is rich in lactose and minerals. It is used as a basic ingredient in animal feed, for its good nutritional profile and digestibility. Available in bulk, big bags or 25 kg sacks.

Buttermilk powder:
A natural product rich in phospholipids, buttermilk powder improves lightness and texture in bakery and pastry products. Also available in an antioxidant-enriched version, it meets the performance requirements of industrial production lines.

A & Bio dairy protein powders (up to 85% protein):
Highly concentrated in protein, these powders are ideal for enriching formulations intended for sports nutrition, low-fat products or technical applications. Their organic version meets a growing demand for functional ingredients from sustainable sources.

    Drying process

    Spray

The product passes through pipes and is sprayed in droplets.
The heat in the tower evaporates the water and drops the powder into the drying tower.

    Roller

The product is fed through a hose and flows down the cylinder walls. The cylinders are extremely hot, which separates the water and grease from the powder, which remains on the cylinder and is scraped off by a knife.
