Editorial

Dear producers,

The Swiss dairy market is evolving rapidly, marked by falling production and an uncertain economic context. At the same time, volatile international markets, trade tensions and inflation are putting increasing pressure on our sector. In Switzerland, a possible erosion of purchasing power could further accentuate the pressure on prices.

Against this backdrop, we reaffirm our commitment to developing Cremo to ensure a sustainable future for the dairy industry. Innovation, quality and proximity to our producers remain at the heart of our approach.

The aim of this newsletter is to keep you informed about the progress of our transformation plan, company news and strategic collaborations.

The price of milk, a central issue.

We are fully aware of the economic challenges facing producers. The Swiss market is under increasing pressure, due in particular to high butter stocks, falling exports of certain cheeses and increased competition from imports.

In this difficult context, and unlike other major players, Cremo took the decision not to export butter because the terms and conditions set by the Federation of Milk Producers - PSL, implied asking producers for a financial contribution. Thus, by taking the risk of not exporting, Cremo was able to maintain a stable milk purchase price for its producers.

In the face of these challenges, we reaffirm our commitment to fair and transparent remuneration of producers, while ensuring the economic sustainability of the company.

Accelerating the transformation

Cremo's transformation, aimed at ensuring our turnaround by 2026, is gathering pace at all levels. This dynamic is based on the implementation of better cost control, more efficient processes, optimized operating modes and a stronger commitment from our teams.

Targeted investments are also gradually modernizing our industrial facilities, while our strategy is evolving towards a more efficient product offering, better adapted to market requirements. Innovation and sustainability remain at the heart of this transformation, with a focus on high value-added products and reducing our environmental footprint.

Thanks to everyone's involvement and collective efforts, we are moving forward with determination towards a stronger, more sustainable future. Thank you for your contribution.
