With Boost, LATTESSO is launching a new functional innovation in the to-go coffee segment: a cold coffee drink that combines vitamins, caffeine, and protein in a single cup. Starting in week 37, LATTESSO Boost will be available in retail stores across Switzerland.
A COFFEE SHOP THAT GOES THE EXTRA MILE
LATTESSO Boost meets three needs in a single cup: supporting vitamin intake, staying alert, and meeting protein needs. The 250-ml cup contains vitamins B and D, providing 30% of the daily requirement, 140 mg of added caffeine, and 17 g of protein from 100% Swiss milk. No added sugars and lactose-free.
Coffee. Protein. Vitamins. Everything you need for your day, all in one cup. Vitamins B6 and B12 help reduce fatigue and exhaustion. Vitamin D supports the normal functioning of the immune system.
The positioning is deliberately clear: energy + protein. It’s neither a weight-loss product nor a shake, but a performance-focused beverage in the familiar format of a to-go coffee.
A RESPONSE TO A GROWING NEED
Boost is aimed at an active, urban audience aged 25 to 45, who today frequently turn to energy drinks or protein shakes. With Boost, LATTESSO offers an alternative that combines these two worlds in a familiar format: coffee.
The decision to buy is often made in a matter of seconds in front of the refrigerated aisle. According to a study by DSM-Firmenich published in 2025, two-thirds of consumers are concerned about issues related to energy and fatigue.
LATTESSO Boost will be available starting in week 37 of 2026, exclusively at Coop stores in Switzerland, in the fresh food section.
